    3. Missy--- Well, hello, cousin!!! (However distant it may be--LOL!) We do have a match here. My grandfather had a few notes about his ancestry, but no sources cited. He listed William Phillips & Katherine Rice being born in Tennessee. Showed Labon/Laban born in Alabama. I would love to know what brought them to Illinois. I did find reference to Labon and two siblings in the 1910 census in Williamson County. Need to go back and look at that more closely now. Found Melvina and Susan, but otherwise I know virtually nothing about this line. I would love to accept your offer to share. This is my mom's family. (My father's branch is so much easier to trace, so I took the simpler route first.) The last time I visited Marion was to attend my Grandmother's funeral in 1995--before I was interested in my ancestry. Looks like it's time to visit the area again soon. If you wish to contact me off-list, feel free to use ann.morey@gmail.com or amorey@cinci.rr.com. Happy Thursday!
