    3. Taken from the Marion Daily Republican-Monday, April 3, 1922 Description of Arnold View and Surrounding Area ARNOLD VIEW Perhaps it would be of much interest and appreciation for the many readers and friends of the Marion Leader to know just what comprises ARNOLD VIEW vicinity, its extent boundaries and the inhabitants who reside in the heart of its domains. It will also be interesting to mention what each resident follows for his chief profession or trade in life, which we will give as follows: First: Arnold School lies in the heart of the community. Arnold View Church is situated about 59 yards south. A beautiful view can be seen for miles around. The members of the church gave it the name of Arnold View about five years ago. Second: Arnold View territory extends from Saline Creek north, to Sugar Creek south, a distance of two miles. Sugar Creek is the boundary line between Palzo limits and Arnold View. Our range from east to west has a long extend, which is from Fairview Church west, on the Creal Springs road, to Rufus Carter on the east, a distance of three miles. Now our community has an approximate area of six square miles, bounded on the north by Clatterville, south of Palzo, east by Dykersburg and west by Southern.
