    1. Blue Funeral Home
    2. A couple wks ago, I wrote on Blue Funeral Home's web site not available and several responded to the same thing. Again, for the last few days, the same thing. Perhaps if someone that lives in Marion, IL could inform them of this as they may not realize this is happening. My cousin passed away and I wanted to send condolences to his family, since I live 300 miles from them and could not attend the funeral, but could not get on Blue's web site. Thanks Linda

    2. While I did not know Jerry personally, his post card postings were nothing short of wonderful. They were so delightful that my 80+ year old Dad absolutely loved to look at them. Seeing things "the way they really were back then" brought untold happiness to my now deceased Dad. I pray that Jerry's loved ones will be comforted in knowing what good deeds we will always cherish from him. Peace be with him and his. 2. Jerry Mullins
    3. Our apologies...Many of you may not be aware that Jerry did, in fact, pass away on Monday, September 4, 2005. The obit was prewritten by him in March of this year. There will not be a service for him as this was his wish. He has been cremated and his ashes will be with his son Baby Jerry in Illinois. With Great Sadness, Michael Mullins and Charlie Balsinger (For questions or concerns e-mail Charlie at CBalsinger@aol.com)

    1. Emboden, Enbody, Osburn,Osborne 1920's Bolton- Stonefort area
    2. John DeVinney
    3. Sorry if this is a duplicate but I seem to be having problems sending the ILWILLIA e-mails. Henderson Enboden (Emboden, Embody) married Laura Osburn in 1895 in Williamson County. Laura's parents were Dr William Osburn and his wife Retha also of Bolton. Henderson Emboden and Laura were known to have 4 children in the area. The children were Headley C born 13 Nov 1887 passed Nov 4, 1945 now resting in Bolton Cemetery, Clyde born 1897, he was living in Stonefort in 1920. William Osburn born 1899 and who died in 1967 , Ellen E (married name Ellen Duncan) born 1902 died in LaSalle Il in 1982. It appears that Laura and Henderson separated before 1918. Laura Osburn Emboden lived in the Bolton area, in her parents home until her passing in 1953, she rests today in Bolton Cemetery. The family is found in Alexander County in the 1900 census and in Williamson County for the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. I am helping a friend to find living connections and or an obit of Laura Emboden or of the Emboden children. John DeVinney Memphis

    3. A couple of months ago I sent an email out about where I could find a photo of the old hotel in Creal Springs. (It was in the early 1900s.) I received a response. But since then I have had to reinitialize my computer and lost that email. I plan to be up in the area the early part of next week. Can any advise me where to look for this photo? 3. I would like to know if anyone on the list is researching any of the following: James Livingston Jones born 26Sep1844 in Jackson, Tn married 10Dec1865 in White County, Il to Elizabeth Gurley born in 1849. James died 23Feb1920 in Wliiamson County and is buried in Bolton-Trammell Cemetary in Stonefort. Also Anna Lodusky Barber married to Rayford Gurley 20Jan1848 in Union County, Il, then she was married to David(DB) Newton possibly in La Clede County, Mo and was using the first name Mariah. Then under the name of Newton, M Lodusky Mrs, she married Youngblood, Solomon B 27Dec1874 in Saline County. Solomon Youngblood was born in 1827 in Marion, Illinois and died 26Oct1891 in Hardin County, he is buried in Stonefort Church Cemetary. Most of the inforamtion I have gathered from censuses, etc. about Anna(Mariah) has been from Union, Johnson, Saline, and Williamson Counties in Illinois and La Clede County, Missouri.
