Looking for information on my husbands grgrGrfather and his family. John Higgins born Ireland, married to Mary HURLEY. First child (?), Patrick born County Cork 2/20/1855. At about age 2, Patrick came to this country with either his parents or an Uncle. John and Mary purchased a farm with John's brother (?) in Peotone, Will Co. Il. Children from this marriage were: Patrick b.2.20.1855 married Julia McMahon in Peotone, died 11/21/1920 Buffalo, Sangamon, IL.
