Does anyone know anything about the family of William J. VANDERGERBOGART/Van der BOGART, or any variation of this spelling? In 1860 he was age 40, wife Adeline age 28, both born in New York. On the 1860 Will County, IL. census, they with children James, Robert and Hellen, appear to be living in the same household as my great-grandfather, Anasa (?) ('Nacy') Harrison JONES and family, in Florence Twp., dwelling 256 and family 420. I'd certainally like to know who they were and why they were living with Nacy JONES and family. Or was this a census taker's error? Any help on the family of Nacy (Anasa) Harrison JONES and his parents James and Mary JONES, would be appreciated. Thank you.
