Hello Everyone! I am descended from Abner G. UPDIKE and Elizabeth ARMOUR who were married in Will Co. in July 1888. Andrew ARMOUR was Elizabeth's father; Mary GILMOUR was her mother. Elizabeth, or "Lizzie"(actually Britannia Elizabeth Findlay Armour - named after the ship "Britannia" that she was born on en route from Glasgow to USA), moved from IL to Canada in 1911 after Abner's departure to Texas in October, 1907. I have some info on Armour family and lots on Updike family. I would like to share my info with anyone; I would especially like to make contact with anyone else who is connected with Abner and Lizzie.
