Hello! I am looking for the following names: GICHTBROCK/GIEHTBROCK/MATTERN They were German immigrants who came to Braidwood around 1881. I am also looking for information on the Diamond Mine Disaster on February 16, 1883. My family lost three men in the accident. I believe all were Catholic. So would be interested in church records.
