Thank you for asking. Love the fact that you are into history especially around the Will County area. But in Wallingford on Elevator Rd stood my 4th grandfathers farm. A log cabin he built from the black walnut trees that grew there. (This is what I was told) I knw the farm burn down about 50 yrs ago and was sold from the family in the 30's because the money had to be used to bury the eldest daughter Mary Foster Koerner. (She at St Joseph in Manhattan). Just another tidbit fro a history person. I am looking for Joseph Foster or Franz Joseph Foster or Joseph Franz Foster. He would have died about 1907ish. I found his wife at old St Rose thanks to Kathy Z. Gosh what an honor to find her grave. It is such a rush to see these people knowing their trials and tribulation to get here and therefore I am here. Her husband Joseph is my challenge. Any help is appreciated...
