Kathy, Thank you for writing me about my ancestor, Madeleine F. Peters Brown. I don't live in Illinois, so I won't be able to go over and check any of these cemeteries you mentioned. I think the libraries are a good idea! I appreciate it. Lisa zavada@uti.com wrote:Good Morning Lisa, The only information I have would be a listing of most of the cemeteries in Green Garden. I did see a few listings for surname PETERS with burials in nearby townships of Monee and Crete. The cemeteries I know off in Green Garden are: Green Garden Mehtodist(aka Andres)section 19 located on the west side of IL rte 45. Rosehill-section 4-on Stuenkel Rd. St. Peter's Evangelical-section 12-SE corner of 80th Ave. and Stuenkel Rd. Twining-section 17-on Dralle Rd. Union-section 14-on Manhattan/Monee Rd & 80th Ave. Green Garden township doesn't have any towns in it. The closest libraries would be located in Monee,Crete,Peotone and Manhattan. You might check with them. Good Hunting, Kathy > >Hello! I am looking for the burial place of Madeleine F. Peters. According to a family letter, she was buried in a cemetery in Green Garden.
