For Mike in AZ, Anton Joseph CERMAK was born 9 May 1873 in Kladno, a town near Prague Czechoslovakia. His father was a coal miner who brought the family to Braidwood,Will,IL in 1874. Mayor Cermak died of gun shot wounds inflicted in Feb 1933 on 6 or 9 Mar 1933. He is buried in Chicago Bohemian National cemetery.
