Haven't posted to the board in awhile, and now that the new biographies on the web site from the 1878 book didn't help either, will try all of you again. Just maybe.... Looking for parents of J or Jay Morris, who was born in Wilmington in 1855. I believe they are Joseph and Catherine, and Joseph may have died in the Civil War. Jay had a brother, Oliver, and they ran away from home because of trouble with their step-father in the 60's/70's. Jay ended up in Omaha, don't know what happened to Oliver. Has anyone ever run across these names in their Will County searching??
