For Jack, The book containing records for St Dennis and Calvary Cemeteries of Lockport is going to the printer next week. It will be available from The Will/Grundy Counties, IL Genealogical Society. I know the person who prepared the book, so I called her and she checked her copy for me. She found the following in south half of St. Dennis Cemetery. There's a road dividing it down the middle. In the 18th row from Jefferson St.: John J. Morrison 1876 - 1959 Margaret A. Morrison 1876 - 1967 (It could be that the gravestones for Jane and Michael are no longer legible.) In Calvary Cemetery: John A. Morrison 1910-1990 V. Lucille 1919-2001 Kayleen (child) 1942-1957 In the Goodale Funeral Home records, I found the following: Wallace J. Morrison, age 35 years 3 months 3 days, of 1127 State Street, Lockport, married, laborer at oil company. Born Lockport 22 December 1902; died at home 25 March 1938. Wife: Ruth Morrison. Father John Morrison, born Lockport; mother, Margaret Wallace, born Lockport. Fuhneral at Goodale Funeral Home by Rev. E.L. Snodgrass; burial in Lockport Cemetery 27 March 1938. I copied the two pages from the booklet, "Lockport Has A Birthday", that mention the Morrisons. Do you have that information? It says Michael was Runyantown's first tailor. It also lists all the descendants still living here in 1930. Sorry I couldn't find the burial records you are looking for. I'll keep watching for any information on Michael and Jane. Let me know if you want anything else. Jacqueline Munch jlmunch@earthlink.net
