Thanks to all for your help and especially to Sheila. I think she solved my mystery in more ways than one. I did not know my g-grandfather John Henry SEAMAN had lived in St. Clair, Michigan and never would have thought to look there. All their children were born in Grundy Co, Illinois and then Clare Co, Michigan and him and his wife were buried with some of the children in Midland Co, Michigan. They must have moved sometime between 1910 and 1920 because they were in the 1920 census for Midland Co, Michigan. I certainly will check that out! Secondly, this also proves that this is indeed the right Sophia and Henry LOHMANN and family because her daughter Dorothea Seeman did indeed marry Johannes KNACK and they lived in Minnesota. Henry was suppose to have died in 1906 and I don't see Sophia or Henry Lohmann in the Midland Co Cemetery, so my best bet for them both is still in Will Co, Green Garden Twp, Illinois. Pretoria Maxwell Michigan Sheila wrote: "From my personal notes: Sophia Lohmann died at the home of her son, John H. Seaman at St. Clair, Michigan on 30 October 1911. Services were held October 23 (no place given). She lived prior to her death, with her daughter, Mrs. Knaak at Butterfield, MN and had just been with her son in St. Clair 40 days when she died. (source: Joliet Weekly News - Frankfort column - 2 November 1911). I'm sorry I have no info on Henry. Hope this is of some help. Sheila S-K
