    3. Will Co. IL Prison connections....... Hi, Think my Grt-grandfather's quarry provided the stones for the prison or so I have been told. Don't know if it will be helpful, but have you checked the Joliet City Directories? They are online for the years, about 1882-1894, something like that. Think I found them either through rootsweb or the genweb project as an alternative for the 1890 census. Not every one is listed, nor is the info as helpful as I assume the census might have been. Still, if you are lucky, they may help.
