What all do you know about Daniel Stafford and his family? I have Staffords from this area and in a photoalbum there is a picture of a guy who has what looks like a stationmaster outfit on and it doesn't say a name. Oneida There are many Will Co. History Books, do you know which one? A railroad didn't go through the town of Channahon, but the Chicago, Joliet and Peoria Railroad ran along the east side of the River. I looked in the History of Will County, 1878; the Past and Present of Will County by W.W. Stevens, c1907; and the History of Will County by August Maue, c1928. I could not find a mention of Daniel Stafford. These are the Will County History Books I have available. I know there are others available though.
