Am trying to locate the marriage record of William M. LANGDON and Margaret THOMAS, around 1850 in either Will or Grundy Co. Various info. places them in Joliet, Minooka, and Morris between the years 1848-1850 or 51. Their oldest child, Jane, was said to have been born in Joliet in 1850, but family lore says that William and Margaret were married in Minooka, IL. Are marriage records kept for those years? If so, where would I write? (they are not in the IL marriage index that is online.) Thanks for your help. Susan R., in Iowa
