Hello Arthur: I don't have immediate access to the Lockport cemetery info, but if you are looking for death dates, the Illinois Death index, online with the Illinois State Archives lists the following: John W. Maxwell died 30 April 1933, Lockport, Will Co., IL; Emma Katherine Maxwell died 11 August 1938, Lockport, Will Co., IL. Hope this helps. 3. Kenneth - By the Illinois death index it looks like he died in McHenry Co, Coral Twp. 5 Nov 1943. He is listed under Morris Brittan, not Britton. 1. [ILWILL] Petrie/English
    2. Hello everyone, This is the first time I have posted to this site and have posted to other sites also so you might get duplicates. Thank you for reading. In the IL, marriage index, I have found a Joseph W. English that married an Annie Lizzie Petrie on 10/31/1895. Does anyone know anything about either one of these people? I am searching for a Joseph W. English that I have only found once on a 1900 census in Illinois. That census says this Joseph was born in 1866 in Feb. Does this ring any bells out there? I sure hope so. Thanks, Charlotte English famwalt@aol.com

    3. There is a death certificate for Henry LOHMANN,age 71yrs9mo,died 4 Dec 1906 place of death Frankfort, cemetery Frankfort cem.,Frankfort township. I understand the will county clerk now charges $14.00 for a copy. This clerk's office is on North Chicago St.,Joliet,IL 60432-address is on will county website under resources or? These are the possible cemeteries in Frankfort twp location. Anyone of them may have been called Frankfort cem.(on the Death cert..)Info from this time frame can be inaccurate as to location of cemetery/burial. I have listed the cemeteries in order of probable relevancy: 1.-Frankfort township cem.(section 22,entrance is through private lane, north of IL rte 30 and east of IL rte 45.) very near Frankfort village.Maybe a transcription done in 1980's by either South Suburban Genealogical Society(SSGHS) or Will Grundy Genealogy Society(WGGS). - both societies cover this area. There is currently a huge condo complex built right next to this cemetery. There has been some vandalism. It is being hemmed in on all sides by construction. 2.-Pleasant Hill cem.(section 21,west of IL rte 45 and south of IL rte 30) very near Frankfort Village.(Note there is I believe a transcription done in 1980's by either South Suburban Genealogical & Historical Society(SSGHS) or the Will Grundy Genealogy Society(WGGS-both societies cover this area).Same with this cemetery-huge build up and construction all around it. 3.-Hickory(section 15) 88th street and St. Francis Road closer to Mokena village.I do not know of a transcription. Also an area of huge development-do not know what condition cemetery is in now. But in the 1990's there had been some vandalism. Least likely: 4.-St. John's Evangelical UCC,(section 17,east side of south Wolf Rd.,at the south edge of the village of Mokena)Very large and maybe still active. I do not know of a transcription. Contact information for these societies is on will county genweb site under Societies. Might I suggest that you try and pin down the location for Henry by checking transcriptions? Might also want to try for an obit from Joliet Public Library Reference dept.-contact Roger Gilmore. Also check Peotone,Crete and Monee libraries for an obit. There maybe an estate/probate for Henry-would be at the clerk of the circuit court's office, will county courthouse,14 west jefferson st.,joliet,il 60432.Estate/Probates would at the very least list all known heirs but could include dates & places of birth, marriage and deaths, also current addresses in 1906 of heirs. plus other genealogy goodies. Good Hunting, Kathy

    3. Awesome! I think I will leave a bit early and check out library while I am down that way. I am researching the Palmer, Foster, Tracey from this area. Joseph Foster had that log cabin in Wallingford that burnt down in the 50's. Trying to find where he is buried. His wife Catherine is at old Mt Olivet (st Rose)in fact you found her for me. That's all.
