    2. Vincent E. Summers
    3. A friend of mine, now deceased, lived in NJ and PA. However, he is listed as being in Joliet, Illinois around 1998. This seems uncharacteristic of him. He was married, but I don't know of his wife. Perhaps she was from there. But they apparently were divorced. There is no mention of any wife in his obituary, despite the mention of children. Robert was born 11 April 1947 at Croton of the Hudson, Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York. His children (that I am sure of) were Eric George and Allison MOORE. They live or lived at Newtown, PA, later. I know this list is due to disappear pronto, but before it does... Can anyone find ANY reference to Robert's life at Joliet? Thanks, Vince Summers Nelson County, Virginia

    3. Hello and thank you for allowing me to participate in this group. My husband’s 2x GGrandparents Hubert and Sylvia Millen lived in Joliet from about 1870 to around 1887. Hubert was born in Luxemburg around 1832. Sylvia was born in New York in 1850. Sylvia and Hubert divorced somewhere between 1877 and 1885. In 1887 his counsin, Conrad Brehn took him to a Veteran’s Home in Leavenworth Kansas. He was said to have had dementia. He was only 54 at the time of his admission. Hubert was a Civil War Vet serving with the Morgan Rifles. He died at the Veteran’s home in 1894 with Chronic Dementia. Sylvia and Hubert had several children: Rosa b. 1867 in New York Terrsa (Theresa) b. 1870 in Joliet Mary Elizabeth Maymee b. 1875 Ellen b. 1877 Sylvia married David Dewalt Shutt in Gary South Dakota on 23rd July 1885. She listed herself as a divorced woman. My husband and I are planning a trip to Illinois at the end of February. We intend to visit Joliet. Could anyone tell me where we might find Divorce records for that period. I am eager to find more about Hubert while we are there. Thank you so much for your help Karen Riley An Aussie living in Idaho.

    3. I've searched my data base; the only Scott listings I have are descendants of Patty Reynolds d/o Eulla Belle Campbell. Patty married Bill (Wm?) Scott and they had 2 children Steve & Chadd. If you don't recognize any of these names I probably can't help you. I did do a search of MO death certificates and FindAGrave & could find no listings for any county with the dates you listed for George & Margaret (Maggie). You might try the free 1880 &/or 1940 census listings on Ancestry. Whatever you know about his military history could have more information available online. Aurora is in Lawrence County, MO and they have a genealogy website. You might be able to contact them to see if they have any info on the family.Sorry I don't have more info for you. Best wishes on your search. Nancy On Saturday, August 27, 2016 3:37 PM, Robert Lavine <schnauze99@comcast.net> wrote: George 1869-1959 Maggie 1871 (1865)-1921.
