I am researching Samuel and Mary "Dyer" Lumm of Whiteside Co., ILL. They are in the 1850 census, but disappear for the 1860. I believe they may have passed away because a few of their children are living among others in the county at that time. Patridge 1858 Whiteside Co., ILL Sarah F. b ca 1841 OH Samuel b. ca 1844 OH Martha J. b. ca 1847 OH Samuel had a sister Ruth Lumm who also resided in Whiteside Co., ILL with her Husband Jonas Windham. They were married in Knox Co., OH in 1840. They are also in the 1850 census near Samuel and his family. Jonas Windham b. ca 1819 OH Ruth Hannah b. ca 1819 VA Mary A. b. ca 1840 OH John W. b. ca 1842 OH Benjamin F. b. ca 1849 OH There is also a Martha Carter, Nancy Lumm and a Sarah Lumm in the 1870 census these are also siblings to Samuel and Ruth Lumm.
