He was from Denmark, NY and enlisted in the Civil War from Whiteside Co. I am trying to determine if he was related to Nancy (Plank) Canfield (husband John N Canfield), also from Ustick, Whiteside Co. The Planks also appear to have ties to the Farwell family of Whiteside Co. Any help is appreciated.
