I searched Ancestry, IL data base, and even the Whiteside County Portrait & Biography of 1885. I did come across an Edwin Secor in Civil War Pensions. Of course YOUR Edwin would have been too young, but I thought he may have been listed as a minor. It was interesting though, because there was a name change! Is that a possibility for your SECORs?
