    2. Hi Fran, This is a long shot... In your query concerning Lenora HAZARD you mention a Thomas HURD. I have a HURD in my line but don't know much about her. Maria HURD, born in England (1804), married William KIER in Canada (1824), and moved to Illinois. They both died in Whiteside Co. (Maria in 1887). Does any of this ring a bell for you? Debbie

    3. Hi Debbie. No that doesn't make a connection with me, but then I am just starting with this side of the family. I will be going down to the Tama Co., Ia. Historical Soc. in a few days and will go back and see what I can find on Mary Hurd Hazard. I know she came out here from Whiteside Co. and they have very good histories on the people that lived in Tama Co. Since she was so well known in Tama, I am sure I can come up with something.
