BAIRD (son of JONATHAN W. BAIRD and RACHEL RIDEOUT) was born 31 March 1843 in Lysander, Onondaga Co., NY, and died 13 March 1882 in Galt, Whiteside Co., IL. He married MARY ANN FORWARD 01 June 1864 in Memphis, Onondaga Co., NY, daughter of GEORGE FORWARD and SARAH CAGER. She was born 08 August 1845 in Cato, Cayuga Co., NY, and died 31 March 1918 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS. Children of SIMEON BAIRD and MARY FORWARD are: i. ELEANOR RACHEL BAIRD, b. March 1866, Yorktown, Bureau Co., IL; d. December 1894?, LaGrange, Cook Co., IL?; m. EDWARD CHARLES BALLUFF 22 December 1887 in Galt, Whiteside Co., IL. ii. CHARLES BAIRD, b. July 1869. iii. WILLIAM JONATHAN BAIRD, b. 18 July 1871, Galt, Whiteside Co., IL; m. EDNA H. MCDOWELL 25 March 1896 in Whiteside Co., IL. iv. IRVIN LEE BAIRD, b. 20 August 1872, Rock Falls, Lee Co., IL; d. 24 December 1942, Hardin, Hardin Co., IL. v. FRANK WELLINGTON BAIRD, b. August 1875, Whiteside Co., IL; m. CLARA CAROLUS, 21 September 1898, Whiteside Co., IL. I have a lot of gaps to fill on this family, so any and all information will be helpful. I am happy to share what I've got.
