Hi, I also have BAKER's from Whiteside Co. that married into my KIER / KEIR family. What I have is: Henry and Triphena BAKER's son Harvey (born Feb. 1840 in New York, died 1895 in Whiteside Co., Illinois) married Isabelle KIER in 1866. In 1870 I show them in the Benton Co., IA census. Their children were Maria (born 1869 in Benton Co, Iowa), Clara, and Myrtle. Do any of these folks fit with your family tree?
