Hi Cousin! This is what we have on the KIER / BAKER union: Triphena's 2nd marriage was to my gggreat grandfather, Duncan KIER on 12 Dec. 1857 in Unionville, Whiteside Co, Illinois. This was a 2nd marriage for Duncan also. (My line runs through Duncan and his first wife.) Duncan was born 13 September 1804 in Muthill, Scotland. He died 15 August 1871 in Union Grove, Whiteside Co, Illinois. Harvey P. BAKER married Duncan's niece, Isabelle KIER. Isabelle was born in 1841, Massena, St. Lawrence Co, New York and died 7 Feb. 1914 in Morrison, Whiteside CO, Illinois. Harvey and Isabelle had three daughters: Maria Triphena b. 1869, Clara A. b. 1872, and Myrtle B, b. 1874. Most of the information I have involves the KIER line. I do have copies of Duncan and Triphena's marriage license and an 1860 Whiteside Co. census showing Duncan, Triphena, children from Duncan's 1st marriage and Harvey P.
