Christian Arfman came from Germany, settled in IA and IL, and was naturalizaed in Whiteside County. His occupation was a saloonkeeper. He was a friend of my g-g-grandfather, Emil Westphal (also from Germany, settling in Whiteside County). Emil too was a saloonkeeper in Morrison, IL, and lived on Clinton Street with his wife, Pauline Nomsen and their children. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
