Hello Everyone, I am looking for info on Frank, John, Thomas & Elizabeth Marshall, the Janvrin family and on the family of Archibald Knox all of Whiteside County. Elizabeth Marshall immigrated from England with her 3 sons, John, Thomas, & Frank. Frank married Clara Janvrin in 1868. Thomas married Anna Hancock, John either remained unmarried or she died young. Elizabeth Marshall must have remarried before 1860. I believe they came abt 1851. I find an Elizabeth Marshall buying land in Whiteside about that time. Frank was born in 1844 in England so they came sometime after that. As for the Knox family, I have a letter written to Archibald Knox by Thomas during a stay in the hospital during the Civil War. I would like to know more abt him. John was listed in his household as a laborer during the 1860 census. Any help will be welcome. Thanks in advance, Alinda
