Significant 'colonies' include: Illinois: Chicago (west side), Roseland, South Holland, Fulton Indiana: Highland, DeMotte / Iowa: Pella, Sioux Center / Minnesota Wisconsin: Sheboygan / Michigan: Holland, Grand Rapids (and there are others too...) There has been much movement and intermarriage between these 'colonies', even in succeeding generations, and therefore we welcome subscribers with interest in any of these areas. There is a lot of Chicago area expertise on the list, but some Iowa and Michigan too. We also have a handful of subscribers in the Netherlands. Here's how to subscribe: Send the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) as the only text in the body of a message to [email protected] (mail mode) or [email protected] (digest mode). Mail mode means all messages arrive individually in your e-mail box. Digest mode means several messages are lumped together into one large message and that is delivered once every day or two.
