Sterling would be the closest hospital, if she was not born at home. Looking at my 1872 Plat Book, I see that J. Allpress owned 280 acres in Section 20, Montmorency Twp., the house was in the NE corner of the property, just across the road from a country school. There is a small cemetery in Montmorency call Golder Cemeter, it is "located 2 miles south on Route 88 from the Junction of Routes 30 and 88 in Rock Falls, on the west side of the highway.
