I have been down the road you took looking at what I can find on the net plus checking out the couty court house, the Whiteside County Historical Society, etc. Did strike pay dirt at the library. Sharon Walsh had filed a lot of history on the John and Mary Beehler family. Via John came Isaac came Amelia that married Alphonse Dieckman but I do not know when or where except it was in Davenport, Iowa in 1898 that the first child of Alphonse and "Millie" was born. Thanks.
