Courtland was born in NY abt. 1826 and Celestia Brown was born 29 Aug 1828 in NY, according to the family bible, she died 18 Dec 1883 in Tampico. They were cousins and moved to Tampico, Whiteside County, IL about 1854 with Celestia's father, Allen Brown and three brothers; Charles H., Ellery C., and Julius W. Courtland and Celestia had four daughters; Amanda, Belle, Vina and Ada. Amanda married Henry W. Bogart. Courtland was known as Coe and he was supposedly struck by a train and killed in 1890. Both Celestia and Courtland are buried in the Tampico Cemetery. Any information is appreciated.
