My gr grandfather, Reuben Bennett Kelley b 1845 OH; d 1910 Peoria Co, IL m 1869 at Peoria to Emily Theresa Hassler - born Bureau Co, IL There was a Reuben B. Kelley who entered CW at Prophetstown in 1861. He served in Co. B. 34th IL Inf. I'm trying to determine if the Reuben B. Kelley who enlisted at Prophetstown is my gr grandfather or a different Reuben Kelley. Does anyone know anything about the Whiteside County Reuben B. Kelley? Who did he marry?
