He was married to Mary E. Frances on February 2, 1864 in Whiteside Co., IL. Mary E. Frances was born about 1843 in Vermont.1 She died on January 27, 1877 in Prophetstown, Prophetstown Twp., Whiteside Co., Illinois.2 Charles E. Oatman and Mary E.
