Her parents Alex. Smith & Isabella Munro along with her siblings settled in Jacksonville IL abt. 1852 but no mention there of Kate. She marr. unknown BAILEY and had son ALEXANDER BAILEY. In the Illinois State Marriage Index, there is a listing for Alex. Bailey and Mary J. PITTMAN, 3/3/1880. Anybody with knowledge of this couple, please contact me.
