David remarried to Anna sometime around 1870-1871 (on 1870 census, he is single, by 1880, he and new wife have children ages 9, 6, 3 (Yorla or Zorla, David, & Henry.) David and Rebecca had a son, William, born abt 1855; there's a marriage record for William McCombs to Emma D Hawkins in Whiteside County 12 Aug 1880, seems likely it's this son. I would deeply appreciate any information on this family; David's death date, Anna's maiden name, what happened to any of the children, are there descendants still around . . .
