I found one article in the Tampico Tornado newspaper: April 8, 1899 There was a double wedding in Hume last Thursday and the contracting partners were Elmer DENISON and Miss Jessie DELP as the first pair, and second Remeo RINKER and Miss Jennie DENISON. Both ceremonies were performed by Rev. W.B. PIERCE, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. DENISON, the parents of one of the grooms and one of the brides. The young couples will live on a farm near Erie. And one John SYNDER article: April 9, 1892 John SNYDER of the freight conductors on the Mendota and Clinton lines suffered an accident resulting in death, at Denrock, Wednesday night. His train was "cut" in two and he was assisting in the switching and while the cars were backing up he attempted to climb up to set the brake on the rear car when one of the rods broke, throwing him upon the rails and eleven cars passed over him. He was the adopted son of Aaron POPE, of Hume. The deceased leaves a wife and two children to mourn his untimely death. The remains were taken to Mendota for burial. Let me know if this helps.
