WOW - 19,000 acres near Lyndon would be the entire town and then some. The entire Township of Prophetstown (including Lyndon) is about 30,000 acres total. I see the IL records show he acquired 160 acres through a Warrant deed 16 May 1849.. 19,000 acres is a lot of dirt.. I checked the Riverside Cemetery and the Lyndon cemetery - no REW buried there..
