I never heard of it - and I lived in Rock Falls until last August. Checked the 1877 History book and there is a reference to it. Its mentioned in the Bio of Noah Merrill on my website: http://www.iltrails.org/whiteside/biomerrill.html Doesn't tell you where it was but it did exist for a time.
