William was born in NJ about 1804 and died in Unionville in Whiteside Co. IL in 1867. His sons were: Ezekiel Young Lane, William M Lane, John H(oneyman?) Lane. I think he might also be the father of Matthew Lane, born NJ, died in the California goldrush in 1850 (declared dead 1857). Matthew married Eliza Agnew in Fredericktown, Knox, OH in 1849. Their son, William Henry, is my grandfather. Matthew is listed in the 1850, Knox, OH census as a wagonmaker. Any help would be much appreciated. > > > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
