My grandfather, John(Johann) didn't know too much either. I have been trying to find some information for my mother. I believe Gustav's father's name was Henry and that he died in 1884 but I'm not sure. According to the 1910 US census, Gustav came to this country in 1878. Thank you. I'd appreciate any information you could give me. Cindy Frederick

I have no other information on them.
My Grandparents are the DeZuba's, buried 1989, and later. My Grandmother, Mildred Cross' family is part of the Robert Anderson family who donated the East Jordan Cemetery land. Last time I was there was in 1993. The "old" Anderson homestead, which became the George Cross homestead, is just below the hill from the cemetery. Robert ANDERSON gave that land to his daughter Mary Anderson Cross, wife of George. Looking more for a date on Mother Mary CROSS. Site doesn't have any dates. My Mary Anderson Cross is the sister of James/Isabel CROSS Anderson of Ogle County. And the cemetery does not have Robert or Mary Ebersole Cross there either. Just wondering how old that map is. It does not have my Great Grandparents who died in the 1959 and 1960. So I wonder about the dates? I will walk it soon, but just have the need to type! Chris, do you know of any plat maps of the cemetery? East Jordan, and lets jump counties, Lanark City Cemetery? You are great, GIRLFRIEND Amy

I would be interested in any information you might have regarding Gustav Boehnke and his parents, as that is where the connection would be. Information that I have received since posting this query shows that Wilhelmena Boehnke was born in 1836 in Berlin. She married twice, both times in Germany, first to Johan Fenske and then to Martin Stutzke. I have no dates for these marriages. The first, and only known, child from the marriage to Johan Fenske was baptized 7 Sep 1862 in Kokotzko, Germany (now part of Poland); and the first known child from the marriage to Martin Stutzke was born 16 Jun 1864 in Freidrichsbruch, Germany which is/was a hamlet near Kokotzko. This child was also baptized in Kokotzko. Does this match in any way with any of your information regarding Gustav Boehnke and his parents?
What kind of help do you want with it.. I've got the cemetery listing online, but you alread know that, I didn't see a DeZuba and a couple of the Cross graves have no dates. http://www.iltrails.org/whiteside/cemjordan.html Chris --- puterbaugha@aol.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Zh.2ADE/1951 > > Message Board Post: > > If anyone could walk this cemetery.
