Posted on: Whiteside Co. Illinois Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Il/Whiteside/10862 Surname: Stutzke, Elgin, Fritz ------------------------- I didn't find anything in 1880 on any of these families, from the online marriage index, Elizabeth's last name was Fritz, but her age in the census is such that she could have been a grandaughter to Minnie. However, the census does NOT indicate any relationship and usually the taker was pretty good. I note several in the adjacent pages where he has noted Gd for Granddaughter, Mo for Mother, Ss for Stepson, Br brother, Cs for cousin, etc. So, IF she was related, I would have expected something to be shown. It may just be coincidence. There were a couple other Stutzke families in the 1900 census, I assume you have those. ELGIN, WILLIAM F FRITZ, ELIZABETH WHITESIDE 06/22/1898 / 00010057 Bob
