    3. I might be able to help you-- my lines are in the Johnson/Crabtree/Land families. I have a Harriett Abbot/Abott marrying an Alonzo Johnson, a few James. W. Overton-- one marrying an Elizabeth Crabtree. These families are so intwined and are really difficult to separate. Do you have any Crabtree lines? Helen in southern IN forever searching in the LAND, EDWARDS, WOFFORD, REEVES, MULLINIKS, CRABTREE, GOODWIN, CHAPMAN, BENNETT, ZUBER, BANGERT, ANTHIS, GOODART-GUTEKUNST, BANGERT, EAKINS, FORD-FOARD, SANDEFUR, MELTON, HANDLEY, EZELL, WALCUP, THOMASSON, and DUNCAN families. On hubby's side-- lines of KEUSCH, ZIMMERMANN, MEHRINGER, SCHITTER/SCHUETTER, SCHMITT, HOCHGESANG, HOPF, and BURGER (Dubois CO, IN). ----- Original Message ----- From: "LR Miller" <midkiffwv@yahoo.com> To: <ILWHITE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 26, 2003 8:21 PM Subject: [ILWHITE] Abbott family of Burnt Prairie > I am searching for information on Austin W. Abbott. He was born 5 Oct 1826 in Illinois. He was married to Elizabeth (or Eliza) Johnson. I also would like information on her family! I believe Austin's parents were (but I lack proof of this) William Henry and Orilla Abbott both born in Vermont (according to the census records) but living in White Co. > > Children of Austin and Elizabeth were: Harriett born about 1849, Elizabeth Ann born about 1852, Sarah Elvira born about 1854 and married James Wesley Overton, George Alexander born 19 Jan 1855 and married Louvina Williams, Mary Arilla (my gg grandmother) born 20 sept 1857 and married John Moore, and Julia born about 1859 and died 18 Feb 1879 during childbirth. Julia never married. Her son was raised by John and Mary Arilla Moore. > > Any help would be greatly appreciated! > > Lynda M. > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > The New Yahoo! Search - Faster.
