    3. I am looking for information on this particular Wilson family. John M. Wilson b. 1811 near Bull Run Prince William Co. Va who became the Clerk of the Circuit Court in 1841 of Richland Co. IL Father Jacob was bor in PA. His grandfather Wilson fought in the Rev'n and was wounded at Paoli and captured. His uncle Silas fought at Brandywine. His father Jacob was at Harper's Ferry in 1798? and served at the White House in the War of 1812 under Col. William Washington. His mother was Margaret King, whose mother was a Kearney, related to Gen. Phil Kearney. In 1824, John's family moved to Jefferson Co. Va (W.Va.) In October 1828 they moved to IL, reaching White Co. in December of that year where they passed the winter at the home of a cousin Justice William Wilson. Also, William B. Shelby married Mary E.
