I have a gedcom file, I think came from a posting on LDS Family Search. Alexander F Barbre, born 1815, died 1862 in TN during the Civil War. Elizabeth Stanley Barbre lived with her daughter Sarah Jane Barbre and son-in-law Alexander Hutchcraft.. I would suggest checking for his records from the Civil War. The person who submitted the file listed Alexander's father as John Barbre and Sara Dosier. The source of thi information was Kathleen Green, of Portland OR. my note is dated 19 Aug 2001. The Barbre's are connected to my husband's gggrnadmother Lucretia Funkhouser Russell. Good Luck with your search.
