Kes, Lick Creek church and cemetery, also known as old prairie, was supposed to have been built along an early stage coach road and was a cemetery for early settlors and travelors. The church was torn down in the summer of 2002. I have some photos a listmember took while the destruction was going on. I haven't been there to check it out--it is a long way in the boonies. It is actually in Harelds Prairie twp, not Indian Creek. I don't see any Blackards in the cemetery listing for the cemetery, but few stones from the 1830s survive. Cindy
