Yes, I talked to Janet a LONG time ago when I first started working on my family. She has no known connection and since I haven't found more we would still be at the same crossroad. It's just so hard for me to believe that there isn't some kind of a connection. Skiles is not Smith or Jones. And to have two separate non-connected families by the same name in the same place is unlikely. There is always that one missing person to connect a line isn't there? I should probably contact Janet again just to say hi and check in.
