My ggg grandmother was Anna Land (d/o Joseph Land of Pendelton Co., SC). Anna was single when she had my gg grandfather (Abraham SR Land) in 1781. She married a Jonathan Reeves/Reaves abt 1782 and had two known children-- George and Nancy. Nancy married a Judge Pleasant Mulliniks and George married a Mary Land and had one known child, Charity Reeves who married a Skelton. These folks all may have had more than one child-- as very few ever stopped with just one child. Does this help anyone?
