Helen, It's in Waldo Twp., Livingston County, Illinois; apparently the same John A. Tennis that "Genie" sent information about from the 1870 census. I had never seen these old plat maps before, but I went to the Illinois State Archives website and they have digitized maps from 1804-1891 through an LSTA grant and they are really neat!
