    3. Have you tried the IL state marriage records? Their site is: http://www.sos.state.il.us/GenealogyMWeb/refform.html Go to databases and scroll down to the marriages. You can enter a statewide search or county search. Be aware of the misspellings of surnames. It can give you a date. Good luck. Helen Zuber Keusch forever searching in the LAND, EDWARDS, WOFFORD, REEVES, MULLINIKS, CRABTREE, GOODWIN, CHAPMAN, BENNETT, ZUBER, BANGERT, ANTHIS, GOODART-GUTEKUNST, BANGERT, EAKINS, FORD-FOARD, SANDEFUR, MELTON, HANDLEY, EZELL, WALCUP, THOMASSON, and DUNCAN families. On hubby's side-- lines of KEUSCH, ZIMMERMANN, MEHRINGER, SCHITTER/SCHUETTER, SCHMITT, HOCHGESANG, HOPF, and BURGER (Dubois CO, IN). ----- Original Message ----- From: "ladybug" <ladybug@arends-sons.com> To: <ILWHITE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2003 12:08 PM Subject: [ILWHITE] 1871 marriage > My husband just learned in Hamilton County courthouse that records for 1871 (marriages) and surrounding years are missing from the courthouse - stolen, they say. Does anyone have any idea where to check next for a wedding that took place in HCI in March of 1871? > Charles Hutchcraft and Mary Jane Drew? > ladybug@arends-sons.com > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
