    2. IL State Marriage Records for Hamilton County? I find it a good game on that site to enter a query about a common surname (no first name) of Hamilton County. See what comes up. No Millers. No Malones. No Nations. How about a common name like Smith? Only one, from 1822. They used to have Hamilton Co. up to either 1854 (the date Felty's book of Hamilton Co. marriages went through) or 1870 (from Harrelson's book). When the site was revamped, all of Hamilton Co. marriages seemed to disappear. Well, I did find that one Smith marriage! I'd like to know what other Hamilton Co. marriages, if any, are actually available on that site. Shirley

    3. On the IL Statewide marriage Index, the Hamilton Co. list includes only 1821-1824. To find all marriages starting with "M", for example, enter only the first letter. There aren't mnay. --- BeeandBop31@aol.com wrote: > IL State Marriage Records for Hamilton County? > I find it a good game on that > site to enter a query about a common surname > (no first name) of Hamilton > County. 3. Shirley - I didn't think there were ANY Hamilton County vitals on the State site? I'm anxious to learn from the Felty book and/or the Harrelson book. Any copies laying around?
